HyperBreak BMW E36 328 Saloon

Below is my personal BMW E36 drift car.

I have been able to achieve a very low ride height and proper alignment settings thanks to the HyperBreak arms as well as lots of other work that has been carried out on the car. The spec list is as follows.

Engine/Drivetrain

  • M52B28 2.8 litre 6 cylinder engine
  • M50 manifold
  • Custom twin 2" exhaust tucked very high
  • Lightweight flywheel and M3 clutch
  • Welded diff (unknown ratio)
  • Custom stainless steel fuel tank located behind back seats. OEM tank removed
  • Fuel lines raised up into floor and brake lines ran inside car

 

Suspension

Front

  • Pro Sport front coilovers with 18k 326Power springs and adjustable top mounts
  • Cut and welded knuckles for extra steering angle
  • 50mm extended lower arms with adjustable lock stops welded on
  • E90 inner tie rods
  • Polyurethane lollypop bushings
  • No rack spacer
  • No anti roll bar
  • Front inner arches thoroughly hammered to avoid rubbing
  • Custom front strut brace with through bonnet tow hook

Rear

  • HyperBreak Subframe Riser Bushings (subframe raised 13mm)
  • Mini cooper R50 rear shocks
  • OEM anti roll bar
  • Fully polybushed
  • Chassis notched to avoid trailing arm making contact

 

Interior

  • Momo bucket seats with harneses
  • Sparco steering wheel
  • Hydraulic handbrake

 

Wheels/Tyres

  • Front: Work CR Kai 17x9 +44, 30mm adapter, 215/35/17 Hankook tyres
  • Rear: Work CR Kai 17x9 +17, 25mm adapter, 215/40/17 cheap tyres

 

Exterior

  • Reiger style front lip
  • Oem sideskirts
  • Custom aluminium drag wing
  • Custom steel roof wing
  • Custom steel flared front arches (+35mm roughly)
  • FitmentLab rear overfenders (+52mm)
